Parenting Monaghan were delighted to welcome 8 parents to our recent Special Needs Programme. Over the weeks, parents shared experiences, supported one another, and took time to reflect on their family journeys in a warm and welcoming environment.
We were pleased to welcome Conor from Monaghan Autism Friendly, whose informal talk inspired and encouraged parents. Many shared that hearing his story gave them hope and reminded them that anything is possible.
Parents described the group as a place where they felt accepted, understood, and free from judgement. They spoke about leaving the programme with renewed confidence, a different perspective, and the comfort of knowing they are not alone.
